Iconic Retreats — Vancouver, Canada

Boutique vacation-home management across Vancouver, Whistler and BC

Iconic Retreats is a vacation rental management company with its office at 188 Keefer Place in Vancouver. By its own account it has spent more than ten years placing guests in rental homes. It works in Vancouver, Whistler, Squamish, Kelowna and Tofino. The company says it keeps its portfolio small on purpose, taking on homes that can earn at least $100,000 a year in revenue. Each property is personally vetted and checked against a 300-point list. The homes range from secluded estates to mountainside chalets. The collection includes a Luxury Waterfront Estate, a house called The White House, and a Luxury Yaletown Condo. Its stated mission is to let owners and guests "rent without reservation" through marketing, booking, rental management and concierge services. A 24/7 concierge offers add-ons such as fully stocked pantries and car rentals. Trained housekeepers clean each home, make the beds and restock supplies, from tea and coffee to olive oil. Owners are covered by a short-term rental insurance policy. The company reports more than 3,000 guests, more than 1,000 check-ins and a team of over fifteen. This is a lodging and property-management business. Its pages mention no teachers, ceremonies, retreats or programs, so any gathering held in one of these homes would be arranged by the guests themselves.
